Feng shui (literally "wind water") is part of an ancient Chinese philosophy of nature. Feng shui is often identified as a form of geomancy, divination by geographic features, but it is mainly concerned with understanding the relationships between nature and ourselves so that we might live in harmony within our environment.

Feng shui is related to the very sensible notion that living with rather than against nature benefits both humans and our environment. It is also related to the equally sensible notion that our lives are deeply affected by our physical and emotional environs. If we surround ourselves with symbols of death, contempt, and indifference toward life and nature, with noise and various forms of ugliness, we will corrupt ourselves in the process. If we surround ourselves with beauty, gentleness, kindness, sympathy, music, and with various expressions of the sweetness of life, we ennoble ourselves as well as our environment.

Why astrology?
Unbeknownst to most of us, there are larger cycles and patterns that underlie each day's potential - the Universe's plan! While we'd laugh at someone trying to get a tan at midnight, or planting their garden in the middle of a cold winter, there are far less obvious cycles that are just as important to successfully conducting your business and daily life. These cycles impact us regardless of our thoughts, feelings, or attitudes, and allow us to choose the best times for our purposes.

How does astrology relate to business?
Just as there's a time for every purpose under heaven, there are appropriate times for business activities too. J.P. Morgan, Walt Disney and many Asian companies used astrology to time business deals,sign contracts, start new companies, introduce products, launch web sites, and other major activities. Astrology reveals the natural cycles or the Divine Plan of the day, so we can know what activities are most appropriate.

You use punctuation marks to structure and organize your writing. The most common of these are the period (or full stop in British English), the comma, the exclamation mark, the question mark, the colon and semi-colon, the quote, the apostrophe, the hyphen and dash, and parentheses and brackets. Capital letters are also used to help us organize meaning and to structure the sense of our writing. You can quickly see why punctuation is important if you try and read this sentence which has no punctuation at all: perhaps you don't always need to use commas periods colons etc to make sentences clear when i am in a hurry tired cold lazy or angry i sometimes leave out punctuation marks grammar is stupid i can write without it and don't need it my uncle Harry once said he was not very clever and i never understood a word he wrote to me I think ill learn some punctuation not too much enough to write to Uncle Harry he needs some help. Now let's see if punctuation it makes a difference!

Why does it matter whether or not your life actually has a purpose?

Let’s take a few steps back and creep up on this question…. If you complete a task, and there’s no overall important context for that task, then the task doesn’t really matter. So you watch a TV show. It doesn’t make a difference — there’s no larger context for it. But if you complete a task that’s part of a larger project, now it suddenly matters, at least within the context of the project. If you create a web page, and it’s part of a new web site you’re building, that task matters. It takes you closer to the realization of the completed project. Now when does a project matter? Projects matter only within the context of a larger goal. If your goal is to increase your income, and you complete a project that is likely to facilitate it, the project matters. It brings you a step closer to the realization of your goal. But if you complete a project like digging a trench through your backyard, and there’s no real goal you’re trying to accomplish, then the project is pointless. There’s no meaning behind it.

In one of Dr. John Gray's audio cassettes he defines love as follows: "Love is a feeling directed at someone which acknowledges their goodness."

On the same cassette, he refers to the definition by M. Scott Peck: "The willful intent to serve the well being of another."
